About the Tournament
The Sport Venue & Event Management Graduate Program in Falk College at Syracuse University is hosting a charity golf tournament benefiting Vera House, a comprehensive domestic and sexual violence service agency providing shelter, advocacy, education, and counseling services for women, children, and men. The goal of this event is to not only raise money to support those affected by domestic and sexual violence in the local community but also to raise awareness about Vera House.
The tournament will take place at Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville, NY on Monday, May 9th, 2016. The Inaugural Sport Venue & Event Management Golf Classic will include 18 holes of golf, lunch, and dinner reception with a silent auction, guest speakers, and raffle prizes! Please join us in supporting the SVEM program and Vera House for this special inaugural tournament. More information on registration and fees can be found on the Registration page.
The funds raised will benefit the Vera House by providing support to the counseling, advocacy, shelter, and education services. Planning the tournament is provided as a learning experience for the graduate students as they work to create a successful and exciting tournament for future years to come.
